NPORS Courses

National Plant Operator Registration Scheme

The NPORS card scheme provides good proof of competence for many employers who either run their own sites or only operate on sites which accept NPORS members.

We can conduct training and testing on your machinery and site, saving a considerable cost.  There is no requirement for Health and Safety testing or NVQ as proof of competence.

NPORS Process

NPORS Operator Training

NPORS training and testing is conducted in accordance with published course objectives and learning outcomes. Employers, once they have assessed the suitability of a person for the role of plant operator will then decide which route their candidate should follow i.e. novice, operator, experienced operator requiring training or experienced operator requiring no training, CCT will complete a pre-assessment of the operator to determine the level of training required.

NPORS Operator Card

The NPORS Operator Card is a record of training/assessment an individual has undertaken to prove their ability to safely operate or drive an item of plant machinery or equipment. Registration with NPORS lasts for three or five years from the date of first initial test.
